It has been a long while haven't update my news. I am excited to share with you "AFK", the first grad group exhibition I am doing at the Design | Media Arts, UCLA. AFK [AWAY FROM KEYBOARD] UCLA Design|Media Arts (DMA) Presents Away from Keyboard, a group exhibition of work by Graduate Students in the Design|Media Arts Department. Critical of contemporary culture's obsessive relationship to communications technology, DMA class of 2010 presents a series of art works related to social conditions, critical discourse and phenomena present in the broad connections between design, media and art. Mediums explored in this exhibition include kinetic, light and interactive sculpture, data visualization, karaoke, moving image and gaming. Please join us for the opening reception of AFK on Thursday October, 15 2009 at 5:00 pm.
